Original side-stapled illustrated wrappers with woodcut illustrations, some printed in two colors. Some browning and staining, two issues with fold marks, a few with replaced staples, some losses and restorations along spines, one issue with cover loose but present, overall good. All seven issues published of the Soviet art and literary journal which was rather un-Soviet in orientation and design, with a more modernist aesthetic inspired by the Silver Age in Russia. It was edited by S. Abramov, Mikhail Kuzmin, and Aleksei Remizov. The issues are notable for their woodcut and linocut illustrations, with cover illustrations by Nikolai Kupreianov, Anna Ostroumova-Lebedeva, Vadim Falileev, Ignaty Nivinsky, Aleksei Kravchenko, and Vladimir Favorsky.

Additional artistic and literary contributions are from P. Pavlinov, Konstantin Bal'mont, S. Abramov, Aleksandr Blok, Valerii Briusov, Andrei Globa, Vladimir Khodasevich, Viacheslav Ivanov, Pavel Muratov, Mikhail Kuzmin, Aleksei Remizov, Abram Efros, V. Masyutin, Anna Akhmatova, V.
