Vsevolod Meyerhold (1874-1940) was a legendary Russian and Soviet theater director, actor, and producer who was known for his experimental productions in which he utilized new innovative staging methods and manners, staged works of controversial authors, and experimented with symbolism.

This program covers productions staged by Meyerhold's theatrical troupe. It opens with a biography of Meyerhold and portrait photograph of the director, a list of his performances, and information on his "Biomechanik" training method. This is followed by biographies and photographs of the perfomers, who included Sinaida Reich, Igor Iljinski, S. Martinson, M. Muchin, W. Saitshikow, P. Starkowskij, N. Bogoljubow, and many others, as well as the musicians and composers.

The second half of the booklet contains descriptions and photographs of productions, including "Der Gewaltige Hahnrei" based on "Le Cocu Magnifique" by Fernard Crommelynck and designed by Lyubov Popova (1922). This production was one of the last plays by a Jewish author to be performed in Germany before the rise of the Nazis. Other plays include "Der Wald" (1924), "Brülle, China" (1926); "Der Revisor" (1926); and "Kommandarm 2" (1929).
